Senior Transportation Engineer, Lake Charles. Responsible for performing traffic and transportation systems analysis, planning and design. Responsible for performance to scope, schedule and budget. Responsible for performance of project staff. Duties include pursuing and winning work in the Louisiana market. Other duties as assigned. Report to Lake Charles Office Manager and Director of Engineering.
Required Skills:
- Degree in engineering, technology or related field.
- PE License in Louisiana or ability to acquire same within 3 months.
- 6 – 8 years progressive experience performing engineering duties similar to those listed above. Particular consideration given to experience with Traffic Impact Analysis, corridor analysis, and signal/electrical design.
- Expertise with engineering software, programs and methods used for duties described above.
- Must pass background and driver’s record check
Desired Skills:
- 10 – 12 years experience performing projects similar to those listed above.
- Experience using SYNCHRO, VISSIM and similar modeling software.

ITS/Illumination/Traffic Engineer, Austin. Responsible for performing Illumination, ITS, tolling systems and traffic systems planning and design. - 3 or more years experience after licensure performing projects similar to those listed above.
- TxDOT precertification or ability to acquire same in categories 7.4.1, 7.5.1, 8.2.1, 8.3.1, 8.4.1

Data Collection Project Manager, Austin. Responsible for managing, organizing and executing office and field efforts for data collection projects for transportation clients, including traffic counts, travel time surveys, vehicle and occupant surveys, video data efforts, and personal surveys. Responsible for development of, and performance to, scope, schedule and budget. Responsible for performance of project team, including recommendations for hiring and firing of same. Responsible for developing work plan and operational project procedures for deployment of equipment, people for extended periods. Responsible for the ensuring project execution and data integrity that complies with documented QA/QC procedures. Other duties as assigned. Position requires extended out of town travel and driving on company business. Report to Division Director.
Required Skills:- Degree in Construction Management, Physical sciences, or related field, AND 5 or more years of applicable experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of database applications such as Microsoft Access.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must pass background and driver’s record check.
- Three (3) or more years direct experience with traffic and transportation data collection and surveys.
- Prior experience with managing database applications and data management/manipulation.
- Experience marketing/selling work.
- OSHA 40-hour certification.
- Flagger and/or traffic control certification.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
Data Collection Field Supervisor, Austin. Responsible for planning, organizing and executing office and field efforts for data collection projects including items such as field and traffic data collection, vehicle surveys, video data efforts, and personal surveys. Responsible for performance to scope, schedule and budget. Direct oversight of up to 20 (3 to 5 typical) field personnel. Responsible for performance of office and field crew, including recommendations for hiring and firing of same. Responsible for maintaining equipment and warehouse. Responsible for coordination deployment of equipment and people for extended periods in accordance with established procedures. Data Collection Supervisor is responsible for the managing execution and data processes that comply with documented QA/QC processes. Other duties as assigned. Position requires extended out of town travel and driving on company business. Project work will be directed by individual Project Manager; report to Division Director.
Required Skills:- Associates Degree in Construction Management, Physical sciences, or related field, OR 2 or more years of applicable experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must pass background and driver’s record check.
- Three (3) or more years of prior experience performing duties similar to those listed above.
- OSHA 40-hour training.
- Flagger / traffic control experience.
- Prior experience with managing large databases in Microsoft Access and/or Excel.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
Engineer In Training (EIT), Austin. Requirements: Graduate from an accredited four-year university. Degree in civil engineering.
