2008 Maricopa Association of Governments and Pima Association of Governments Travel Study
This study combines the resources of the Maricopa Association of Governments and the Pima Association of Governments and provided a comprehensive video license plate survey of the metropolitan area encompassed by these two organizations. Alliance performed the site selection activities, which included 18 stations, 14 external to the area and 4 internal and completed the video license plate data collection in the fall of 2008. For the data collection, Alliance deployed supervisory staff and acquired the services of temporary staff in the area to collect the video data. Alliance transcribed the captured license plates with the state of origin for all license plates at each of the locations. Alliance delivered the database of all the transcribed license plates and a database of the matching license plates for each of the individual facilities in all directions.
