Alliance CEO Gayle Heath spent the day with women business owners from all over the country during yesterday’s WTS Women Business Owners Roundtable. Topics covered included: Growing Your Business; Leadership Development: People-Power-Performance – Creating the Dream Team; and Controlling Our Own Destiny – the Future of the DBE Program and the Politics of Small Business.
During a Joint Session held with the WTS Executive Womens Roundtable – whose members included executives from the public sector, such as Secretaries of Transportation, Agency or Authority Heads (state or local), and Board of Directors – Gayle participated in a discussion on ‘What Really Matters: Reflecting on Our Past, Present, and Future Lives as Leaders’ facilitated by Mindy L. Zasloff, MBA.
Every year, WTS members who are women business owners are invited to apply to join the annual WTS Women Business Owners Roundtable. This is an opportunity for a select group of leading women business owners in the transportation industry to share successful experiences and best practices while learning from others about starting and running a business in today’s world.
Thank you, Gayle, for sharing your knowledge and experience to make lives better for women business owners throughout the transportation industry!
